TOKAI TOKYO SECURITIES CO., LTD. is pleased to announce the introduction of a new portfolio advisory support system (the ‘System’).
The System leverages QEngine, a digital wealth management platform provided by Quantifeed Japan Limited, the Japanese entity of the Quantifeed group, which is headquartered in Hong Kong. The platform helps visualize the risk characteristics of clients’ overall investment portfolios and supports the development of portfolio improvement recommendations tailored to individual investment objectives and risk tolerance. The System will be gradually implemented in client advisory activities beginning in September 2026.
Background
TOKAI TOKYO SECURITIES has been actively promoting the practical implementation of the TOKAI TOKYO Financial Group’s medium-term management strategy of ‘Enhancement of Financial Services Capabilities,’ with a focus on supporting each client’s long-term asset-building journey.
As investors increasingly adopt a long-term perspective, the importance of portfolio-based investment advisory services that combine multiple financial products continues to grow. TOKAI TOKYO SECURITIES pursues a ‘hybrid’ management approach that combines the strengths of its people with advanced technology. The introduction of the System represents another step in this strategy, enabling more suitable and sophisticated investment recommendations tailored to each client’s investment goals and risk tolerance.
Key Features of the System
1. Portfolio Visualization
The System provides a comprehensive view of clients’ assets, displaying asset allocation by asset class, unrealized gains and losses by holding, and market value trends. This enables clients to understand their overall portfolio status rather than viewing investments individually.
2. Portfolio Analytics
The System quantitatively analyzes the overall risk and return profile of clients’ portfolios, including concentration risks associated with specific asset classes or securities. Model portfolios aligned with various risk tolerance levels can also be presented as reference points for comparison.
3. Asset Allocation Review Simulation
Based on the analytical results, advisors can create portfolio review proposals by adjusting asset allocation and portfolio holdings. Clients can evaluate how proposed changes may affect the portfolio’s risk and return characteristics.
4. Proposal Report Generation
The System generates a consolidated report covering portfolio composition, risk analysis results, and proposed portfolio changes. This allows advisors to present recommendations and support their rationale in a clear, professional format for clients.
Future Enhancements
TOKAI TOKYO SECURITIES plans to expand the System’s capabilities in phases. By continuing to provide holistic portfolio-based advisory services that take into account each client’s total assets, the Company remains committed to further strengthening its client-centric business practices.
